The CuraGuard approach to remote monitoring
Advances in technology over the last few years have led to a plethora of remote health, assistive and monitoring products coming to the market.
This is the case especially in regard to those over 65 years of age: the key group who could perhaps benefit the most by adopting remote monitoring. It is not so much that this group objects to the idea of being protected from afar, they want to feel safe without any great impact upon their lifestyle. The greater the degree of impact a monitoring system has on the daily lives of people of any age group, the more challenging it becomes for them to smoothly absorb it into daily routines
Early in the planning stages of CuraGuard, we were clear in our desire to bring forwards a service that buttons its coat up over a wide range of functionality, while at the same time being as easy to live with as possible. The service had to operate around the user, offer round the clock real time data transfer, be capable of predictive analysis, give intelligent access to those who the user wishes and all of this to be achieved within a single, robust, proven and unobtrusive device.
We just needed to choose the right device for the task, making that device fit in with our developing service offer, making it as flexible as the changing customer needs and demands rather than asking people to fit in with the limits of a device. This is where CuraGuard parts Company with its competitors: we are dedicated providers of a flexible and adaptive monitoring, alerting and support service, rather than suppliers of a device. Rather than trying to sell you a product that may or may not meet your needs, we are offering a service that can change and flex with you.
